Chur, this place was perfect for our skiing trip! Heaps of hot water and a warm room. Only thing was that the room felt a bit small, but the breakfast was a winner!

The cozy communal lounge with a fire and the beautiful interior design truly captured the charm of the area. The breakfast was extensive, even if it lacked fresh vegetable options, but it was sufficient to fuel up for skiing adventures.
The rooms felt a bit outdated, with poor lighting and only one pillow provided per guest, which didn’t help for a good night's sleep. Access to the ski slopes was a hassle, requiring a convenient ski gear storage setup for easy travel. The high fees for the small spa area were a letdown. Lastly, having to order food for in-room dining by midday was an inconvenience not everyone appreciated.

Chateau in La Thuile offers a lovely atmosphere with its historical decor and cozy communal spaces. The breakfast spread truly impressed me. plenty of options, though I wished for fresh vegetable selections. Location made skiing convenient, just a short walk to the slopes. Ski storage included heated racks for boots, which I found particularly useful. Room felt a bit outdated, with poor lighting that could use some improvement. During my stay, I noticed limited opportunities for evening dining options. Staff were generally helpful while creating a warm ambiance with a nice seating area—ideal for relaxing after a long day skiing. Improvements could include upgrades to the room lighting and more varied breakfast options.

It was just a great match for one night in La Thuile with incredible value for money. The breakfast variety was decent and filled the gap nicely before hitting the slopes. Avoid asking the owner too many questions. it's clear they prefer a hands-off approach.

Family friendly hotel
The breakfast was one of the best I've had in Europe! Fresh food, and just right for starting the day before hitting the slopes.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but it was acceptable when considering all that it offered.
